The Sweet Basil – a recipe of a Vodka cocktail for Summer

A large majority of cocktails existing and developed on the basis of vodka are regularly reworked, others are simply made out the fruit of the imagination of experts fully inspired.

With this summer approach, our mixologist developed a Vodka cocktail full of freshness and lightness, The Sweet Basil !

Here are the necessary ingredients and the recipe of the sweet basil for a glass of 32cl:

• 4cl of Vodka
• 15cl of juice of lychee
• 1 entire branch of basil
• 1/2 yellow lemon
• 1,5Cl of syrup of Citronella homemade
• Crushed Ice

For the preparation, mudler (overwrite with a Pilon) the yellow lemon and the rod of basil in full in a Boston shaker (composed of a shaker by metal and of another glass). Then add some vodka, the syrup of Citronella housemade and the juice of lychee.

Shaker all vigorously with some ice cubes, and then filter in a glass filled with crushed ice.

For the decoration, place a sheet of basil and a zest of lemon yellow.
